Who am I? All I hope to be known about me is my commitment to Christ Jesus. What does that look like? A fervent thirst for His word and its outworking on my life. Don’t misunderstand me, I love my wife, Sara, and my son, Finnegan, but unless Christ and His kingdom are first in my life, I cannot love them appropriately. I am one of the sheep that Isaiah wrote about, for I, like all, had “gone astray”. I am one whom Paul wrote about in that I did not “seek after God”. I was one who was spiritually dead and disinterested. That is, until God took out my heart of stone and gave me a heart of flesh and turned my eyes to the wicked thing that was this creature before a holy God. Who am I? I am a son of a King, a slave to Christ, not my own, a disciple of the Most High. I am a sheep and Jesus is my Shepherd.
I am Charlie Montes.
